AN ACT PROVIDING FOR THE ANNUAL APPOINTMENT OF A TREASURER OF THE LANCASTER SEWER DISTRICT
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same as follows:
SECTION 1. Chapter 831 of the acts of 1967 is hereby amended by striking out section 10A, inserted by chapter 659 of the acts of 1970, and inserting in place thereof the following section:-
Section 10A. The board of sewer commissioners shall annually appoint a treasurer who shall not be a member of the board of sewer commissioners. The treasurer shall perform the duties required by law to be performed by the treasurers of districts and any duties prescribed by the board of sewer commissioners.
SECTION 2. This act shall take effect upon its passage.
