AN ACT RELEASING A RESTRICTION ON CERTAIN PROPERTY IN THE TOWN OF WEBSTER.

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:

SECTION 1. (a) Notwithstanding chapter 158 of the acts of 2004, the division of capital asset management and maintenance may release the restriction held by the commonwealth that property owned by the town of Webster located at 31 Ray street in the town shall be used solely as a community youth facility. The property is described in a deed from the commonwealth to the town of Webster, dated January 4, 2005, and recorded with the Worcester district registry of deeds in book 35465, page 99.

(b) Upon any subsequent sale or lease of all or a portion of the property described in subsection (a) by the town of Webster, the town shall pay half of the net proceeds of any such sale or lease to the commonwealth.

SECTION 2. This act shall take effect upon its passage.
