AN ACT ALLOWING THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF EVERETT TO SET THE SALARY FOR THE CLERK OF THE CITY COUNCIL.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:
SECTION 1. Notwithstanding any general or special law to the contrary, the city council of the city of Everett shall set the salary of the clerk of the city council at the amount that the council deems appropriate.
SECTION 2. This act shall take effect upon its passage.
