AN ACT DESIGNATING A CERTAIN STATE POOL IN THE TOWN OF CLINTON AS THE LIBERTY M. ARNOLD-SIMON MEMORIAL CHILDREN’S POOL.

Whereas, The deferred operation of this act would tend to defeat its purpose, which is to designate forthwith a certain pool in the town of Clinton, therefore it is hereby declared to be an emergency law, necessary for the immediate preservation of the public convenience.

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:

The children’s pool located at the same facility as the Philip J. Weihn memorial pool in the town of Clinton that is under the care and control of the department of conservation and recreation shall be designated and known as the Liberty M. Arnold-Simon memorial children’s pool. The department of conservation and recreation shall erect and maintain suitable markers bearing the designation in compliance with the standards of the department.
