AN ACT DESIGNATING A CERTAIN BRIDGE IN THE CITY OF CHELSEA AS THE JOHN P. BRUTTANITI MEMORIAL BRIDGE.

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same as follows:

Bridge number C-09-001 on Washington avenue in the city of Chelsea shall be designated and known as the John P. Bruttaniti memorial bridge, in honor and recognition of John P. Bruttaniti, who served as a United States Army reserve military police investigator deployed to Iraq from 2003 to 2004 and with the fire and police departments of the city before passing away on May 12, 2016, at 41 years of age. The Massachusetts Department of Transportation shall erect and maintain a suitable marker bearing the designation in compliance with the standards of the department.
