The 193rd General Court of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts

AN ACT DESIGNATING A CERTAIN BRIDGE IN THE TOWNS OF HANSON AND HANOVER AS THE HON. CHARLES W. MANN BRIDGE.

Whereas, The deferred operation of this act would tend to defeat its purpose, which is to designate forthwith a certain bridge in the towns of Hanson and Hanover, therefore it is hereby declared to be an emergency law, necessary for the immediate preservation of the public convenience.

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same as follows:

Bridge H-06-003=H-07-003 spanning the Indian Head river on Winter street in the towns of Hanson and Hanover shall be designated and known as the Honorable Charles W. Mann Bridge, in memory of Charles W. Mann and his many contributions to his community, the commonwealth and the country over 5 decades of public service. The Massachusetts Department of Transportation shall erect and maintain suitable markers bearing this designation in compliance with the standards of the department.
