AN ACT PROVIDING FOR 5 MEMBERS OF THE CEMETERY COMMISSION OF THE TOWN OF WESTFORD
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:
SECTION 1. The second paragraph of section 9 of the charter of the town of Westford, which is on file in the office of the archivist of the commonwealth, as provided in section 12 of chapter 43B of the General Laws, is hereby amended by striking out the words “the cemetery commission” and inserting in place thereof the following words:- a cemetery commission consisting of 5 members.
SECTION 2. Upon the effective date of this act, the town manager shall appoint 1 cemetery commissioner for a term of 3 years and 1 cemetery commissioner for a term of 2 years.
SECTION 3. This act shall take effect upon its passage.
