AN ACT EXEMPTING RYAN M. CHARETTE FROM THE MAXIMUM AGE REQUIREMENT FOR APPOINTMENT AS A FIREFIGHTER IN THE TOWN OF DRACUT
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:
SECTION 1. Notwithstanding chapter 31 of the General Laws or any other general or special law to the contrary, Ryan M. Charette shall be eligible to have his name certified for original appointment to the position of firefighter in the town of Dracut, notwithstanding his having reached the age of 32 before taking a civil service examination in connection with that appointment. Ryan M. Charette shall be eligible for appointment to the position of firefighter in the town of Dracut if he meets all other requirements for certification and appointment to this position.
SECTION 2. This act shall take effect upon its passage.
