AN ACT PROVIDING FOR THE MEMBERSHIP OF THE BOARD OF PARK COMMISSIONERS OF THE TOWN OF DUNSTABLE
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:
SECTION 1. Notwithstanding any general or special law to the contrary, the board of park commissioners of the town of Dunstable shall consist of 3 members who shall be appointed by the board of selectmen for terms of not more than 3 years.
SECTION 2. Any incumbent on the board of park commissioners in the town of Dunstable serving on the effective date of this act shall continue to hold the office and perform the duties thereof until the expiration of the term for which the incumbent was elected or until the incumbent sooner vacates the office.
SECTION 3. This act shall take effect upon its passage.
