AN ACT AUTHORIZING THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SOMERVILLE TO APPOINT A CLERK OF COMMITTEES AND ASSISTANT CLERKS OF COMMITTEES.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:
SECTION 1. Notwithstanding section 21 of chapter 240 of the acts of 1899 and section 44 of said chapter 240, the city council of the city of Somerville may appoint a clerk of committees and assistant clerks of committees. These appointments shall expire annually.
SECTION 2. This act shall take effect upon its passage.
