AN ACT AUTHORIZING THE TOWN OF DRACUT TO PAY A CERTAIN BILL TO WHITEWATER, INC.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:
SECTION 1. Through inadvertence, the town of Dracut failed to comply with the procurement laws of the commonwealth when awarding a bid to WhiteWater, Inc. for the annual servicing, maintenance and repair of the town’s sewer system, services provided by WhiteWater, Inc. related to operation and maintenance of the town’s wastewater pumping stations pursuant to the town’s May 2018 request for proposal and notice of award dated June 6, 2018 and upgrade work completed at the Merrimack avenue wastewater pumping station pursuant to the town’s 2019 request for proposal and notice of award dated March 14, 2019.
SECTION 2. Pursuant to this act, the town of Dracut may pay WhiteWater, Inc. for services rendered in the amount of $133,489.21.
SECTION 3. This act shall take effect upon its passage.
