AN ACT ADDRESSING CITY COUNCIL VACANCIES IN THE CITY OF BROCKTON
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:
SECTION 1. Notwithstanding any general or special law to the contrary, if a vacancy occurs in a city of Brockton ward city council seat during any time in the year 2021, the vacancy shall not be filled by special municipal election.
SECTION 2. This act shall take effect upon its passage.
