AN ACT DESIGNATING A CERTAIN BRIDGE IN THE TOWN OF WILMINGTON AS THE TROOPER THOMAS W. DEVLIN MEMORIAL BRIDGE AND A CERTAIN RAILWAY PLATFORM IN THE CITY OF NORTHAMPTON AS THE HONORABLE PETER V. KOCOT MEMORIAL STATION

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:

SECTION 1.  Bridge number W-38-029 located on state route 129 spanning interstate 93 in the town of Wilmington shall be designated and known as the Trooper Thomas W. Devlin Memorial Bridge in memory of State Trooper Thomas W. Devlin. The Massachusetts Department of Transportation shall erect and maintain suitable markers and a memorial plaque on the bridge bearing the designation in compliance with the standards of the department.

SECTION 2.  Notwithstanding any general or special law to the contrary, the railway platform located at 170 Pleasant street in the city of Northampton shall be designated as the Honorable Peter V. Kocot Memorial Station. The Massachusetts Department of Transportation shall erect and maintain a memorial plaque on the platform bearing the designation in compliance with the standards of the department.
