AN ACT AUTHORIZING THE TOWN OF WHATLEY TO CONTINUE THE EMPLOYMENT OF WILLIAM SMITH, A MEMBER OF THE FIRE DEPARTMENT OF THE TOWN
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:
SECTION 1. Notwithstanding any general or special law to the contrary, William Smith, a member of the fire department of the town of Whately, may continue to serve in that position until William Smith reaches 70 years of age or until William Smith’s non-reappointment, whichever first occurs.
SECTION 2. This act shall take effect upon its passage.
