AN ACT VALIDATING THE RESULTS OF THE SPECIAL TOWN MEETING HELD ON SEPTEMBER 14, 2021 AND THE SPECIAL ELECTION HELD ON SEPTEMBER 21, 2021 IN THE TOWN OF LEICESTER
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:
SECTION 1. Notwithstanding any general or special law or by-law to the contrary, all acts and proceedings taken by the town of Leicester at the special town meeting held on September 14, 2021 and the special town election held on September 21, 2021 and all actions taken pursuant thereto are hereby ratified, validated and confirmed, notwithstanding any failure to publish notice of the town meeting location pursuant to section 4 of chapter 2 of the town by-laws or to comply with the provisions of section 18B of chapter 53 of the General Laws relating to the printing and making available of certain voter information prior to the election.
SECTION 2. This act shall take effect upon its passage.
