AN ACT REDESIGNATING CERTAIN BRIDGES IN THE CITY OF LAWRENCE
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:
(a) Notwithstanding any general or special law to the contrary, the Massachusetts Department of Transportation bridge, department number L04023, located in the city of Lawrence and currently designated as the Santo S. Nicolosi Bridge shall be renamed the Joseph A. Torrisi Memorial Bridge.
(b) Notwithstanding any general or special law to the contrary, the Massachusetts Department of Transportation bridge, department number L04022, located in the city of Lawrence and currently designated as the Joseph A. Torrisi Memorial Bridge shall be renamed the Santo S. Nicolosi Bridge.
(c) The Massachusetts Department of Transportation shall erect suitable markers for each bridge thereon bearing said designations in compliance with the standards of the department.
