AN ACT EXEMPTING JONATHAN DILLON FROM THE MAXIMUM AGE REQUIREMENT FOR ORIGINAL APPOINTMENT AS A POLICE OFFICER IN THE TOWN OF DEDHAM

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:

SECTION 1.  Notwithstanding sections 58 and 58A of chapter 31 of the General Laws or any other general or special law or rule or regulation to the contrary regulating the maximum age of applicants for appointment as police officers, Jonathan Dillon shall be eligible to have his name certified for original appointment to the position of police officer in the town of Dedham. Jonathan Dillon shall be eligible for appointment to the position of police officer in the town of Dedham if he meets all other requirements for certification and appointment to the position.

SECTION 2.  This act shall take effect upon its passage.
