The 193rd General Court of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts

AN ACT DESIGNATING A CERTAIN PORTION OF STATE HIGHWAY IN THE TOWN OF PLYMOUTH AS PLIMOTH PATUXET HIGHWAY

Whereas, The deferred operation of this act would tend to defeat its purpose, which is to designate forthwith a certain portion of state highway in the town of Plymouth, therefore it is hereby declared to be an emergency law, necessary for the immediate preservation of the public convenience.

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:

SECTION 1. Chapter 131 of the acts of 1969 is hereby repealed.

SECTION 2. That portion of the state highway, beginning at exit 12A on state highway route 3, which connects state highway routes 3 and 3A in the town of Plymouth and is currently known as the Plimoth Plantation highway shall be known and designated as the Plimoth Patuxet highway. The Massachusetts Department of Transportation shall erect and maintain suitable markers on the highway bearing the designation in compliance with the standards of the department.
