AN ACT EXEMPTING MARCEL CUFFY AND JOHN R. BAKER FROM THE MAXIMUM AGE REQUIREMENTS FOR FIREFIGHTERS IN THE TOWN OF NORTH ANDOVER
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:
SECTION 1. Notwithstanding chapter 31 of the General Laws or any other general or special law to the contrary, Marcel Cuffy and John R. Baker shall be eligible to have their names certified for original appointment to the position of firefighter in the town of North Andover, notwithstanding having reached the age of 32 before taking any civil service examination in connection with that appointment. Marcel Cuffy and John R. Baker shall be eligible for appointment to the position of firefighter in the town if they meet all other requirements for certification and appointment to the position.
SECTION 2. This act shall take effect upon its passage.
