AN ACT AUTHORIZING THE SELECT BOARD OF THE TOWN OF HULL TO ESTABLISH A SCHEDULE OF FINES FOR PARKING VIOLATIONS
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:
SECTION 1. Notwithstanding sections 20A or 20A½ of chapter 90 of the General Laws or any other general or special law to the contrary, the select board of the town of Hull may establish a schedule of fines for parking violations. The schedule of fines authorized pursuant to this act shall provide that a fine paid: (i) within 21 days after issuance shall not exceed $100; (ii) after 21 days but before the parking clerk reports said fine to the registrar pursuant to said section 20A½ of said chapter 90 shall not exceed $110; and (iii) after the parking clerk reports said fine to the registrar pursuant to said section 20A1/2 of said chapter 90 shall not exceed $150.
SECTION 2. This act shall take effect upon its passage.
