AN ACT AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR OF THE CITY OF MEDFORD TO APPOINT STEPHANIE MUCCINI BURKE AS DIRECTOR OF BUDGET AND PERSONNEL IN THE CITY OF MEDFORD.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same as follows:
SECTION 1. Notwithstanding section 8 of chapter 39 of the General Laws or any other general or special law or rule or regulation or ordinance to the contrary, the mayor of the city of Medford may appoint Stephanie Muccini Burke to the position of director of budget and personnel upon her resignation of her position as a member of the city council of the city of Medford.
SECTION 2. This act shall take effect upon its passageApproved, February 3, 2011.
