AN ACT AUTHORIZING THE NANTUCKET ISLANDS LAND BANK TO SELL, CONVEY OR OTHERWISE DISPOSE OF CERTAIN LAND SITUATED IN THE TOWN OF NANTUCKET.

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same as follows:

SECTION 1. Notwithstanding any general or special law to the contrary, but subject to subsections (a), (b) and (g) of section 16 of chapter 30B of the General Laws, the Nantucket Islands Land Bank may sell, convey or otherwise dispose of all or a portion of certain land situated in the town of Nantucket totaling approximately 38.5 acres shown on the town of Nantucket assessor’s map 89, as parcels 6, 6.1 and 6.2.

SECTION 2. As a condition of the conveyance of any portions of the parcels of land authorized in section 1, the Nantucket Islands Land Bank shall grant a conservation restriction to a qualified grantee permanently protecting all of the land to be conveyed.

SECTION 3. This act shall take effect upon its passage.
