AN ACT AUTHORIZING THE BOSTON FIRE DEPARTMENT TO TRAIN AND CERTIFY FIRE SERVICE PERSONNEL IN THE CITY OF BOSTON.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same as follows:
SECTION 1. Notwithstanding sections 165 and 165A of chapter 6 of the General Laws or any other general or special law to the contrary, the Boston fire department may train all levels of fire service personnel in the city of Boston and may certify all such personnel trained by the Boston fire department.
SECTION 2. This act shall take effect upon its passage.Approved, December 5, 2012.
