AN ACT MAKING APPROPRIATIONS FOR THE FISCAL YEAR 2014 TO PROVIDE FOR SUPPLEMENTING CERTAIN EXISTING APPROPRIATIONS AND FOR CERTAIN OTHER ACTIVITIES AND PROJECTS
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same as follows:
SECTION 1. Item 8900-0001 of section 2 of chapter 38 of the acts of 2013 is hereby amended by adding the following words:- ; provided further, that $1,853,000 shall be expended to hire additional staff at Bridgewater state hospital; provided further, that the department of correction shall file a report with the house and senate committees on ways and means not later than October 31, 2014 including, but not limited to, detailing the number and type of positions funded by the preceding proviso, the reason why such positions are required and the results of any accreditation applications; and provided further, that $1,853,000 shall not revert and shall be made available through June 30, 2015.
SECTION 2. Said item 8900-0001 of said section 2 of said chapter 38 is hereby further amended by striking out the figure “$547,113,917” and inserting in place thereof the following figure:- $548,966,917.
SECTION 3. This act shall take effect upon its passage.
