AN ACT DESIGNATING CERTAIN LANDS IN THE TOWN OF ADAMS FOR CONSERVATION AND PUBLIC RECREATIONAL PURPOSES

     Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same as follows:
     SECTION 1.  The parcels of land of the commonwealth described in section 2 in the town of Adams shall be held solely for the purposes of and uses for open space protection, management and conservation, environmental education, environmental research and public access for recreation and enjoyment. Rules and regulations of the department of conservation and recreation relating to state park lands shall apply to the land identified in section 2.
     SECTION 2.  The land designated in section 1 is identified on a 2-page plan dated December 8, 2014 on file with the division of capital asset management and maintenance and the department of conservation and recreation entitled “Transfer of Care & Control of the Remaining Land of Greylock Glen for Article 97 of the Massachusetts Constitution Purposes prepared for the Commonwealth of Massachusetts Division of Capital Asset Management & Maintenance & Dept. of Conservation & Recreation” and consists of approximately 1,008+/- acres.
