AN ACT AUTHORIZING THE DIVISION OF CAPITAL ASSET MANAGEMENT AND MAINTENANCE TO CONVEY A CERTAIN PARCEL OF LAND IN THE TOWN OF FOXBOROUGH TO THE FOXBOROUGH HOUSING AUTHORITY

Whereas, The deferred operation of this act would tend to defeat its purpose, which is to transfer forthwith a certain parcel of land in the town of Foxborough for affordable housing, therefore it is hereby declared to be an emergency law, necessary for the immediate preservation of the public convenience.

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same as follows:

The parcel contains approximately 16.02 acres and is located at the intersection of state highway route 140 and Walnut street adjacent to the southbound ramp of interstate highway route 95 and is shown on town of Foxborough assessors’ map 133 as lot 3604. The parcel shall be conveyed by deed without warranties or representations by the commonwealth.
SECTION 2.  Sections 2 and 3 of said chapter 200 are hereby repealed.
