AN ACT LIMITING THE TRANSFER OF CERTAIN LICENSES FOR THE SALE OF ALCOHOLIC BEVERAGES TO BE DRUNK ON THE PREMISES IN THE TOWN OF BELMONT
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:
SECTION 1. Chapter 388 of the acts of 2010 is hereby amended by inserting after section 1 the following section:-
Section 1A. The board of selectmen of the town of Belmont shall not approve the transfer of a license granted under this act or under chapter 14 of the acts of 2004 to any other location or to any other person, partnership, corporation, limited liability company, organization or entity.
SECTION 2. Chapter 15 of the acts of 2014 is hereby amended by inserting after section 1 the following section:-
Section 1A. The board of selectmen of the town of Belmont shall not approve the transfer of a license granted under this act or under chapter 128 of the acts of 1997 to any other location or to any other person, partnership, corporation, limited liability company, organization or entity.
SECTION 3. This act shall take effect upon its passage.
