AN ACT RELATIVE TO NAMING A STATE-OWNED BRIDGE IN THE TOWN OF AMHERST AFTER ELLEN STORY
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:
Bridge number A080100W2DOTNBI on Montague road, spanning the Mill river in the town of Amherst shall be designated and known as the State Representative Ellen Story bridge, in honor of Ellen Story and in recognition of her immense service to her community and the commonwealth through her 25 years in the house of representatives, where she was beloved and respected by her colleagues. The Massachusetts Department of Transportation shall erect and maintain a suitable marker on the bridge bearing the designation in compliance with the standards of the department.
