AN ACT DESIGNATING THE BOARDWALK AT HERITAGE STATE PARK IN THE CITY OF FALL RIVER AS THE ROBERT CORREIA BOARDWALK

Whereas, The deferred operation of this act would tend to defeat its purpose, which is to designate forthwith a certain boardwalk in the Heritage state park in the city of Fall River, therefore it is hereby declared to be an emergency law, necessary for the immediate preservation of the public convenience.

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:
The boardwalk at Heritage state park in the city of Fall River shall be designated and known as the Robert Correia boardwalk, in honor of former State Representative Robert Correia. The department of conservation and recreation shall erect and maintain suitable markers bearing that designation in compliance with the standards of that department.

Approved June 21, 2018.
