AN ACT RELATIVE TO BOAT EXCISE TAX REVENUE FOR THE TOWN OF CHATHAM WATERFRONT.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same as follows:
SECTION 1. Notwithstanding subsection (i) of section 2 of chapter 60B of the General Laws or any other general or special law to the contrary, 100 per cent of the sums collected by the town of Chatham as excise tax on vessels under said chapter 60B shall be credited to the town’s municipal waterways improvement and maintenance fund established pursuant to section 5G of chapter 40, and may be expended solely for the purposes set forth in said section 5G.
SECTION 2. This act shall take effect upon its passage.
