AN ACT AUTHORIZING THE CITY OF QUINCY TO GRANT ABATEMENTS OF REAL ESTATE TAXES TO CERTAIN VETERANS.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same as follows:
SECTION 1. Notwithstanding section 5 of chapter 59 of the General Laws, or any other general or special law to the contrary, the board of assessors of the city of Quincy shall grant abatements of certain real estate taxes assessed for fiscal year 2017 upon the real property owned by Kristin Healy and Sean Healy located at, and commonly known as, 30 Chickatabot road, in the total amount of $1,440. This sum shall represent a veteran’s abatement of $1,000 due to Kristin Healy and $440 due to Sean Healy for that fiscal year.
SECTION 2. This act shall take effect upon its passage.
