AN ACT EXEMPTING J. ADAM STAGNO FROM THE MAXIMUM AGE REQUIREMENT FOR POLICE OFFICERS IN THE TOWN OF NORTH ANDOVER.

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:

SECTION 1.  Notwithstanding chapter 31 of the General Laws or any other general or special law to the contrary, J. Adam Stagno of the town of North Andover shall be eligible to have his name certified for original appointment to the position of police officer in the town of North Andover notwithstanding his having reached the age of 32 before taking the civil service examination in connection with that appointment. J. Adam Stagno shall be eligible for appointment to the position of police officer in the town of North Andover provided that he meets all other requirements for certification and appointment to this position.

SECTION 2.  This act shall take effect upon its passage.
