AN ACT RELATIVE TO HEALTH INSURANCE BENEFITS FOR CERTAIN RETIREES IN THE TOWN OF PEMBROKE.

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:

SECTION 1.  Notwithstanding chapter 32B of the General Laws or any other general or special law to the contrary and in order to promote the public good, the town of Pembroke shall recognize certain retirees who are not eligible to participate in a Medicare health insurance plan as a separate class of retirees with whom the town may establish, collectively or individually, and may amend, a health insurance premium contribution rate that is more favorable than the premium contribution rate applicable to other retired employees from the town of Pembroke.  The separate class of retirees shall consist of and be limited to the following individuals: John Glauben, Robert Demers, William Curtin and Scott Manning.

SECTION 2.  This act shall take effect upon its passage.
