AN ACT AUTHORIZING THE CITY OF WATERTOWN TO ACQUIRE PROPERTY IN THE CITY OF WALTHAM
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:
SECTION 1. The city of Watertown may acquire a certain parcel of land located in the city of Waltham for general municipal purposes and for active and passive recreation purposes. The parcel, containing 20,596 square feet, more or less, is a portion of the property shown as “Lot 8” on a plan of land entitled “Plan of Land Being a Division of Lot 4 Shown on Land Court Plan 15807C Creating Three Lots Waltham Street, Waltham/Watertown, Mass.”, dated June 28, 2012, and recorded in the land court division of the Middlesex Southern district registry of deeds as court case number 15807D. The land is more particularly described in a deed recorded in the Middlesex Southern district registry of deeds in registered land certificate number 266654.
SECTION 2. This act shall take effect upon its passage.
