AN ACT MODIFYING CERTAIN TITLES AND PROVIDING FOR THE APPOINTMENT OF CERTAIN POSITIONS BY THE TOWN ADMINISTRATOR OF THE TOWN OF NEWBURY
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:
SECTION 1. Section 3 of chapter 460 of the acts of 2008 is hereby amended by striking out, in line 3, the word “personnel” and inserting in place thereof the following words:- human resources.
SECTION 2. Said section 3 of said chapter 460 is hereby further amended by striking out, in line 4, the words “board of fire engineers,” and inserting in place thereof the following words:- fire chief.
SECTION 3. Section 13 of said chapter 460 is hereby amended by striking out, in lines 3 and 4, the words “highway superintendent” and inserting in place thereof the following words:- public works director.
SECTION 4. Said section 13 of said chapter 460 is hereby further amended by inserting after the word “planner,”, in line 4, the following words:- the assistant town accountant, the administrative assistant, the information technology/communications program manager, the production/operations specialist, the principal assessor, the assistant assessor.
