AN ACT DIRECTING THE FIRE DEPARTMENT OF THE TOWN OF BURLINGTON TO WAIVE THE MAXIMUM AGE REQUIREMENT FOR FIREFIGHTERS FOR RYAN DECOSTE
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:
SECTION 1. Notwithstanding section 58A of chapter 31 of the General Laws or any other general or special law to the contrary, the fire department of the town of Burlington shall waive the maximum age requirement for original appointment of firefighters for Ryan DeCoste. If Ryan DeCoste meets all other requirements set forth by the Burlington fire department, he shall be eligible to have his name certified for original appointment to the position of firefighter.
SECTION 2. This act shall take effect upon its passage.
