AN ACT CHANGING THE NAME OF THE BOARD OF SELECTMEN IN THE TOWN OF EAST BRIDGEWATER TO SELECT BOARD
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:
SECTION 1. Notwithstanding any general or special law to the contrary, the executive body in the town of East Bridgewater, previously known as the board of selectmen, shall be known as the select board and shall have all of the powers and duties of a board of selectmen under any general or special law, by-law, rule or regulation.
SECTION 2. This act shall take effect upon its passage.
