AN ACT ELIMINATING THE RESIDENCY REQUIREMENT FOR THE POSITION OF ADMINISTRATIVE ASSISTANT TO THE BOARD OF ASSESSORS OF THE CITY OF NEW BEDFORD
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:
SECTION 1. Notwithstanding chapter 5 of the acts of 1990 or any general or special law to the contrary, the administrative assistant to the board of assessors of the city of New Bedford need not be a resident of the city of New Bedford.
SECTION 2. This act shall take effect upon its passage.
