AN ACT DESIGNATING A CERTAIN BRIDGE IN THE TOWN OF FALMOUTH AS THE DEPUTY JOHN ROBERT KOTFILA JR. MEMORIAL BRIDGE

     Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:
     Bridge number F-03-032, located on the southbound side of state highway route 28 spanning state highway route 151 in the town of Falmouth shall be designated and known as the Deputy John Robert Kotfila, Jr. memorial bridge, in memory of John Robert Kotfila, Jr., a Falmouth native who was killed in the line of duty while serving as a deputy sheriff in the Hillsborough county sheriff’s office in the state of Florida.
     The Massachusetts Department of Transportation shall erect and maintain suitable markers bearing the designation in compliance with the standards of the department.
