AN ACT AUTHORIZING THE TOWNS OF FOXBOROUGH AND SHARON TO EXTEND A CERTAIN AGREEMENT FOR MUNICIPAL SEWER SERVICE
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:
SECTION 1. Notwithstanding section 4A of chapter 40 of the General Laws, section 1 of chapter 83 of the General Laws or any other general or special law to the contrary, the towns of Foxborough and Sharon, acting by or through their select boards, may amend the agreement dated August 1, 2023 between the towns relative to the provision of municipal sewer service in the town of Sharon and extend the term of the agreement to a term not more than 99 years.
SECTION 2. This act shall take effect upon its passage.
