AN ACT DESIGNATING THE RUMNEY MARSH RESERVATION AREA OF CRITICAL ENVIRONMENTAL CONCERN AS THE JOSEPH T. JAMES AREA OF CRITICAL ENVIRONMENTAL CONCERN

     Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:
     The Rumney marsh reservation area of critical environmental concern, located within the Saugus river and Pines river inlet and bordering the cities of Lynn and Revere and the town of Saugus, shall be designated and known as the Joseph T. James memorial area of critical environmental concern in memory of environmental activist and long-time president of Friends of Rumney Marsh, Inc., Joseph T. James of the city of Revere.
     The department of conservation and recreation shall erect and maintain a suitable marker and signage bearing this designation in compliance with the standards of the department.
