AN ACT DESIGNATING A CERTAIN BRIDGE IN THE TOWN OF STONEHAM AS THE STATE TROOPER TAMAR A. BUCCI MEMORIAL BRIDGE

Whereas, The deferred operation of this act would tend to defeat its purpose, which is to designate forthwith a certain bridge in the town of Stoneham, therefore it is hereby declared to be an emergency law, necessary for the immediate preservation of the public convenience.

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:

Bridge number S-27-008, an overpass located on Marble street in the town of Stoneham, shall be designated and known as the State Trooper Tamar A. Bucci Memorial Bridge in honor of state trooper Tamar A. Bucci. The Massachusetts Department of Transportation shall erect and maintain suitable markers bearing that designation in compliance with the standards of the department.

Approved, March 1, 2024.
