The public is invited to participate in The Joint Committee on Labor and Workforce Development hearing on Wednesday, October 8, from 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 PM in Hearing Room B-1.

Registration: To register to testify in-person or virtually, please provide contact information via this form. The deadline to register is Friday, October 3rd, at 3:00 p.m. If you plan to testify as a panel, please note the name(s) of your co-panelist(s) on the form when registering. All panelists testifying will need to register individually via the sign-up form. The livestream of this hearing will be available on the Legislature's website at https://malegislature.gov/.

Hearings will be recorded and posted publicly on the Joint Committee on Labor and Workforce Development page. The Chairs will limit testimony to 2 minutes per speaker and encourage speakers to avoid repetitive testimonies, to help ensure as many bills as possible are heard. The hearing will recess for a 60-minute break from 12 p.m.-1:00 p.m.

Written Testimony: Written or pre-recorded testimony may be submitted until Friday, October 17th at 5:00 PM via email to labor.workforce.development@gmail.com. Please indicate if you support/oppose/amend/other and bill number(s) in the subject line.
All written testimony received by the committee will be made publicly available. At the discretion of the Chairs and per committee rules, limitations and redactions shall exist for sharing testimony that includes sensitive personal information or information that may jeopardize the health, wellness or safety of the testifier or others. Any person submitting written testimony may request such testimony remain private and said testimony will not be made publicly available.
