AN ACT RELATIVE TO THE CHARTER OF THE TOWN OF NORTH ANDOVER.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same as follows:
Section 3 of chapter 2 of the charter of the town of North Andover, which is on file in the office of the archivist of the commonwealth as provided by section 12 of chapter 43B of the General Laws, is hereby amended by striking out section 2-3-1 and inserting in place thereof the following section:-
2-3-1 The town meeting shall meet as specified in the town by-laws and in accordance with section 9 of chapter 39 of the General Laws to consider and adopt an annual operating and capital budget and to act on other matters. The meeting shall continue on other days until all articles in the warrant have been acted upon.
