AN ACT AUTHORIZING THE CITY KNOWN AS THE TOWN OF RANDOLPH TO DESIGNATE A CHECK-OFF ON ITS TAX BILLS.

     Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same as follows:
     SECTION 1.  The city known as the town of Randolph may, subject to the approval of the commissioner of revenue, designate a place on its municipal tax bills or the motor vehicle excise tax bills, or mail with such tax bills a separate form, whereby taxpayers of the city may voluntarily check-off, donate and pledge an amount of money, which shall increase the amount otherwise due and which shall be paid over to the Randolph Military Services Committee to support veterans and dependents in need in the city known as the town of Randolph and to promote the recognition and observance of patriotic holidays. 
     SECTION 2.  This act shall take effect upon its passage.
