AN ACT DESIGNATING A CERTAIN BRIDGE IN THE TOWN OF DEDHAM AS THE HONORABLE DEBORAH R. COCHRAN MEMORIAL BRIDGE

Whereas, The deferred operation of this act would tend to defeat its purpose, which is to designate forthwith a bridge in the town of Dedham, therefore it is hereby declared to be an emergency law, necessary for the immediate preservation of the public convenience.

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:

Bridge number D-05-004 located on state highway route 109, over the Charles river in the town of Dedham, shall be designated and known as the Honorable Deborah R. Cochran Memorial Bridge in recognition of former state representative Deborah R. Cochran. The Massachusetts Department of Transportation shall erect and maintain suitable markers bearing this designation in compliance with the standards of the department.
